She was predeceased by: her son Jerry Leon Fortenberry; her parents, Glen Cooley and Avis Gibson; and her stepfather Earl Gibson. She is survived by: her sons, Clifton Prine (Carey) and Larry Fortenberry (Shannon); her grandchildren, Brittney Brown (Greg), Larry Fortenberry, Jr (Destiny), Tiffany Fortenberry, Amber Prine, Carly Green (Colby) and Preston Prine; and her siblings, Sharon McLeod (Wayne), Harlen Cooley (Christine), Christian and Pat Parker.
