With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herman Welford (Lucedale, Mississippi), who passed away on October 13, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Netha Lee Welford; his parents, James Welford and Carrie Welford; and his brothers, W. D. Welford, Jimmy Welford and Eldridge Welford.

He is survived by: his daughter Faye Courtney (Mike); his granddaughters, Meliah Bishop (Brandon) and Chasten Hempstead (Josh); his great grandchildren, Braylee and Makenna Bishop; and his sisters, Sarah Hathcock and Carolyn Shanks. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
