He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary H. Wozencraft Bartlett; and his son James Hugh Bartlett. He is survived by: his wife Shirley R. Bartlett (Landrum); his children, Rodger W. Bartlett (Belma) and Johnna B. Haynes (Donald); his stepsons, Martin Bilbo (Christa), Heath Bilbo (Mona) and Joshua Bilbo (Missy); and his grandchildren, Robel Mylroie (Lars), Rodger S. Bartlett (Rebecca), John W. Bartlett, Rebecah Dean (Dale), Jacob Haynes (Rebecca), Robert B. J. Bartlett, Heather Islam (Mohammed), Hayley Bartlett and Derrick Bartlett.
