He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Ann Woods; his parents, Robert Lee Woods and Golda Odell; and his brother Kenny Woods. He is survived by: his children, James Woods Jr. (Melissa), Wendy Williamson (Greg), Cheri Woods and Nathan Woods; and his sisters, Bonnie Coxwell, Nita McKissick, Rita Woods and Andrea Hunt.
