She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Joe Thornburg; her parents, Robert E. Persons and Mary Emma West Persons; and her brother James Russell Persons. She is survived by: her children, Donald Thornburg, Robbie Holland (Ken) and Laura McGuire (Kevin); her grandchildren, Missy Holland Breland (Derek), Carrie Holland Foster (Matt) and Evelyn McGuire; and her brothers, Robert "Woodie" Persons and Charles M. Persons.
