He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie A Purcell and Lillian L Purcell (Morrison); his daughter Pam Dapra; and his siblings, Dot Campbell, Jesse Purcell, Walter Purcell and Charles Purcell.
He is survived by: his wife Lettie Dean Purcell (Denmark); his daughters, Kim Marsh and Valerie Johnson (Scott); his grandchildren, Melissa Miles (Scott), Shannon O'Neal (Ellis), Anndrea Marsh, Scotty Johnson, Charlie Brooke Johnson and Matthew Dapra; his great grandchildren, Gavin Miles, Kaya Miles, Brody Miles and Finley O'neal; and his sister-in-law Mary Collins.
