She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Nelson (Mary) and Jeremy Nelson (Leslie); her brother Bruce Merrill; her son-in-law Jonathan Butler; and her grandchildren, Lauren Dunham (Austin), Kyle Nelson, Makenzie Murrah, Cherokee Butler, Lynn Holland, Courtney Holland, Conner Butler, Zoey Butler and Bailey Butler.
Due to Covid-19, a private family graveside service will be held at the Evergreen Cemetery in Helena, MS.
