He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Ann Byrd; his parents, Raphael Byrd and Nelda Byrd; and his brother Homer Byrd. He is survived by: his children, Chastity Hillman of Lucedale, Jennifer Whisenhunt (Joseph) of Byrd, MS and Kevin Byrd (Jessica) of Byrd, MS; his grandchildren, Garret, Cole Hillman, Braxton, Keaton Byrd, Carson Roberts (Cliff), Makayla, Makenzie and Brynnlee Whisenhunt; and his great grandchildren, Brantley and Braylon Roberts.
