She was predeceased by: her brother Stanley Slay (Elnora); her husband Judge Norris Box; her parents, Bernise Slay and Mary Evelyn Slay (Ball); and her siblings, James Charles Slay, Russell Slay, Tommy Slay, Doris Jean Faurot and Florence May Davis.
She is survived by: her sons, Dale Box (Diane) of Leakesville, Danny Box and Dean Box (Paula); her grandchildren, Jason Box (Kara) of Spanish Fort, AL, Lauren Box Taylor (Chase) of Laurel, MS, Lindsey Box Rounsaville (Clark) of Leakesville, MS and Gracie Box of Winborn Chapel; her great grandchildren, Kyler Hayes Box, Kye BrentleyTaylor, Kipton and Rowen Oscar Rounsaville; and her sisters, Anna Merle Anderson (Bill) and Hilda (Butch).
