He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Spillers and Nettie Toland Spillers; and his grandson Kevin W. Sorensen. He is survived by: his wife Lucy Tanner Spillers; his children, Anthony (Hannah Key), Brenda (Mike Sorensen) and Rebecca (Gene Warren); his sister Freddie Wright; and his brother-in-law Billy Wright. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren.
