He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys and Monie Phillips, Sr.; his brother Jimmy Phillips; and his stepdaughter Sandra Foster. He is survived by: his wife Mae Hemphill Phillips of Lucedale, MS; his sons, Marty Aaron Phillips of Lena, MS and Monie Jason Phillips of Texas; his stepdaughters, Robin Carter of Louisville and Teressa Huntley of Brandon, MS; and his brother Paul Phillips of Centre. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
