He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Eugene and Sadie Bell Barnhill (Hollingsworth); and his siblings, Oliver Ray Barnhill, Rex Barnhill, Leroy Barnhill and Carolyn Caraway.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Barnhill (Cochran); his daughters, Annette Barnhill (Chuck) and Virginia Barnhill Grimes (Robert); his siblings, Lora Holley (Howard) and Eugene Barnhill; and his grandsons, Parker Lee Grimes and Bryson Lee Grimes.
