It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ouida Harris of Lucedale, Mississippi, born in Bogalusa, Louisiana, who passed away on February 22, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel O. "Butch" Harris; her parents, Myrle Carriere and Beatrice Carriere; her siblings, Larry Elton, Milton Earl Carriere, Paula Mitchell, Ann Kenny and Beverly; her great-niece Crystal Carriere; and her nephew Chad Sullivan.
She is survived by: her children, Sean Harris (Stephanie) and Tara Eubanks (Drake); her grandchildren, Tori Harris, Claire Eubanks and Caroline Eubanks; her brother Lavon Carriere (Carol) of Angie, LA; and her brothers-in-law, David Kenny of Bogalusa, LA, Greg Mitchell (Denise) of Mandeville, LA and Allen Little of Baton Rouge, LA. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Friends of the Library.
