He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Joe and Bessie Katheryn Harvison (Keel); his son Brandon Joe Harvison; his grandson Brandon Cody Harvison; and his sister Kathy Jo Tolbert (Raymond).

He is survived by: his significant other Sharron Kaye Havard; his son Justin Anthony Harvison; his sister Jan Hilbun (Mike); and his grandson Corey Harvison.
