It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Kemps (Lucedale, Mississippi), born in Sturgis, Mississippi, who passed away on July 9, 2021, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Geraldine "Tat" Kemp; his brother Willie George Kemp; his grandparents, Isaiah and Lillie Mae Kemp; and his uncles, Curtis Elliot, Robert Lee Kemp and Harold Kemp, Sr..
He is survived by: his father John "Red" Tucker; his wife Alveetia; his siblings, Anita (Melvin C. Ambrose), Marcia Pearson (Jammie), Carlos Kemp (Shirelle) and Rev. Charles Kemp (Norma); his aunt Vera Larry; and his uncle Willie James Tucker. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.
