She was predeceased by: her parents, William M. Dement and Della Dement (Pugh); her daughter Sherrie Lynn Hatcher; and her siblings, William D. Dement, Gloria Smith (Bobby) and Shelton Dement.
She is survived by: her husband Douglas M. Hatcher; her children, Karen Y. Moffett (Dennis) of Lucedale, MS, Douglas S. Hatcher (Donna) of Lucedale, MS, Timothy G. Hatcher (Melinda) of McHenry, MS, Michael K. Hatcher of Lucedale, MS and Gary B Hatcher (Shawntay) of Lucedale, MS; her siblings, Barbara S. Vise (Jerry), Linda D. Nixon (Paul) and Paul M. Dement; and her sister-in-law Wilda Dement. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
