She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyce Penton and Leona Penton (Flemming); her children, David and Tammy Rogers; and her siblings, Jackie Flemming, Bernice Fairchild, Nancy Penton, Buddy and Sonny Penton.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Rogers (Tanya) of Lucedale, Cyngela Scruggs, Victor Rogers of McLain and Victorianna Rogers of New Augusta; and her sisters, Melba Jean Cobb and Linda Regan of Columbia. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and "a pile" of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
