He was predeceased by: his parents, Bunyan Rigney and Lou Betty Rigney; and his siblings, Bunyan Aaron, Lon Rigney, Lou McDonald, Betty Kelly, Essie Hulett and Eula Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Nelda Roberts Rigney; his sons, Roger Rigney (Barbara), Randy Rigney (Rachel), Benjy Rigney (Tammie) and Todd Rigney (Melissa); his stepdaughters, Hope Backstrom (David), Kim Bertagnolli (Kenneth) and Jeri Moorman (Danny); and his sister Dorcas Howard. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
