She was predeceased by : her parents, Virgil Franklin Davis and Mary Hazel Massey Davis; and her brother Dr. John Stephen Davis. She is survived by : her husband Nathan Kenneth Rankin of Lumberton; her children, Bryan Christopher Rankin of Birmingham, Patrick Shane Rankin (Dawn Cherie) of Lumberton and Amanda Lynn Smith (Ken) of Lumberton; her sisters, Shirley Joyce Litwhiler of Americus and Cathy Lucinda Kruse of Hartford, Alabama; and her grandchildren, Aiden Zayce Smith, Sadie Elizabeth Smith and Aubrey Leigh Smith.
