She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Sumners and Wassie Sumners; her husband Frank R.; and her brother David Sumners. She is survived by: her children, Susan Pettis (Jim) of Madison and Frank Fortenberry (Susan) of Tupelo; her brother Phillip Sumners (Glaphrey) of Leesburg; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Pettis of Washington, Catherine Pettis of Madison, Caroline Pettis of Madison, Sumner Fortenberry of Tupelo, Walker Fortenberry of Tupelo and Niland Fortenberry of Tupelo.
