She is survived by: her husband Joseph L. Thurmond; her children, Taylor Turcotte, Laurie Thurmond Smith (Rodney) and David Thurmond (Marcie); her grandchildren, Andrew Smith, Addison Smith Frutiger (John), Alex Thurmond and Emily Thurmond; her brothers, William S. Turcotte (Diane) and John W. Turcotte (late Terry); her siblings' children, Jamie Turcotte Dowd (Keith), Leigh Anne Turcotte Boland (Todd), Ashlie Turcotte Lovins (Quentin), Will Turcotte and Erin Sydney Turcotte; and her pet Tux. She is also survived by two great-nieces and one great-nephew.
