It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Dill Smith of Mantachie, Mississippi, who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Icelee Knox Dill and Coy Dill; her husband Virgil Smith; her grandson Michael Jason Brown; her great grandchildren, John Reed Harbin and Josiah John Michael Petry; and her siblings, Roosevelt Bill Charlie Dill, Coy Dill, Jr., Sarah Dill White, Ruby Dill Posey and Betty Dill.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Paden and Kathie Haskett (Wayne); her grandchildren, John David Harbin, Kristen Nicole Paden (Blaine) and Heather Haskett; and her great grandchildren, Lillian Jade Wilson, Taylor Michelle Harbin and Kylie Anne Harbin.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues (535 W Jefferson St, Tupelo, MS 38804). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
