Jim Hewitt Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2018, at the age of 75, Jim Hewitt (Marion, Mississippi), born in Houlka, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his mother Hattie Dendy; and his children, Mark Hewitt and Marta Lynn Guss. He is survived by : his wife Linda Johnson Hewitt; his children, Mary Anne Arvin (Tim) of Woodland and Matthew Sean Hewitt (Sarah); his siblings, Helen Benefield (Jeff), Ruth Ann Cook, Vera Rowlett, Arthur Carter (Frona), Perry Carter (Liz) and Gene Carter; his grandchild Mallorie Guss of Ft; and his stepgrandchildren, Tim Arvin of Woodland, Jennifer Brock of Groton, CT, Emily Dorton and Tyler Dorton. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.

The family has requested that donations be made to Missionary Fund Faith Bible Church in lieu of flowers.
