Mildred McElroy Sollie Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred McElroy Sollie (Marion, Mississippi), who passed away on June 13, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Hiram M. Sollie; her parents, Henry McElroy and Ethel McElroy; her brother William H. "Billy" McElroy; and her daughters-in-law, Shirley Sollie (Dennis) and Brenda Sollie (Everett).

She is survived by : her children, Dennis A. Sollie, Everett Sollie and Cassandra N. Sollie Black (Sheldon); her grandchildren, Stephanie Null (Robby), Dana Casey (Chad), Emmie Franklin (Jason), Christopher Sollie, Sarah Johnson (Chris), Cammie Rice (Nathan), Michael Black (Kayleigh) and Elizabeth Black; her siblings, Frances Broadhead (Dempsey) and James "Buddy" McElroy (Carol); and her sister-in-law JoAnn McElroy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Marion Children's Ministry.
