He was predeceased by: his stepmother Nannie T. Marcus; his son Paul Jordan; and his siblings, Richard Marcus, Leon Marcus, Iyneis Sellers, Joseph Marcus, Benjamin Thomas Marcus, Jerelyn Roberts Richardson and Alvin Cullom, Sr..
He is survived by: his spouse Virginia Stokes Marcus of Summit; his sons-in-law, Gail Markus of McComb, Mary Lou Dykes, Keith of Magnolia, Sandra and David Kavanay of McComb; his brother Curtis Cullom of Flowood; his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Cullom of Flowood, Dorothy Marcus of Independence, LA and Faye Cullom of Magnolia; his grandchildren, Brian J. Dykes, Captain Ben Kavanay (Carly), Adam Kavanay, Chris Jordan, Kyle Jordan, Julie J. Avritt and Elena Lyons; his great grandchildren, Journey B. Avritt, Sheamus Lyons, Amelia Lyons and Brooks David Kavanay; his nephew Marty Joe Wells of Summit; his daughter-in-law Elizabeth Young (Mark) of Naperville, IL; and also, Patsy Price, John Price of McComb, Sarah Jo and Mickey Morris of Magnolia. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
