He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde B. and Letha Cothern Boyd; his siblings, Clyde Emory Boyd, Era Jane Boyd, Buna Delaughter and Jean Dunaway; and his brother-in-law Curtis Phelps.
He is survived by: his sisters, Frankie Phelps of McComb and Faye Hall of McComb. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
