He is survived by: his wife Totsie Boyd McKenzie; his children, Houston C. McKenzie Jr., Margaret M. Russell (Bruce) and Glenda M. Johnson (Kenneth); his siblings, Winfred H. McKenzie (Peggy) and Lucille M. Bates; his grandchildren, Blaisha McKenzie, Destiny Arellano and Vince Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Johnny Arellano and Joaquin Arellano. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
