He was predeceased by: his parents, Needom Roberts and Ruby Dunaway Roberts; his wife Betty Sue Roberts; his daughter Sabrina S. Roberts; and his brothers, Benny Roberts, Frank Roberts and Paul Roberts.
He is survived by: his siblings, Tommy Roberts, Grace Hutchinson, Shirley Hearn and Frances Dykes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
