He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Conrad Gerther Smith and Amelia Sterling Smith; his close friends, Billy Bales (Billy Bob), Richard Ellison, Hollis Holmes, Jerry Morgan and Harvey Temple; his brother James Malcolm Smith (Jimmy); his children, Amelia Ann Smith Reed (Jim) of Pearl, Mississippi and Otis C. Smith, Jr. (Sherry) of Petal, Mississippi; his sister Joy Jerlene Smith Clayton (Joe) of Summit, Mississippi.; his grandchildren, Rachel Lynne Livingston (Burl), Kayla Cony Smith, Darius, Kenzlie, Kenadee, Brittany Foster, Wesley, Sayler and Charli; and his niece Ava Elise Clayton Mixon (Lawrence). He was also cherished by his daughter and son and his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
