She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Thornhill and Nancy "Nannie" Rushing Thornhill of Enon; her former husbands, R. J. Thames and Elmer Travis; her siblings, Earnie Thornhill (Coyle), Wilson Thornhill (Marie), Willard Thornhill (Louise), J. H. Thornhill (Conn Thornhill), Ora Greer (Kermit) and Lena Mae O'Quin (Will); her brother-in-law Charles Coker; and her grandson Paul Edward.
She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Thames Guy; her sister Norma Jean Coker; her grandchildren, Nancy Guy Miller (Michael), Leland "Butch" Guy (Kecia) and Sean Guy; her great grandchildren, Christopher Guy, Jerolyn Martin (Al), Jarrett Armstrong, Tanner Guy and Vince Guy (Mariah); her granddaughter-in-law Martha Guy; and her great great grandchildren, Liam Guy, Alaya Martin, Vrielle Martin and Callie Martin.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
