We are sad to announce that on September 11, 2021, at the age of 70, Sylvia Lynn Cothern of McComb, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Phillips and Marguerite Phillips; her husband Butch Cothern; her siblings, John Phillips, Lois Newman, Edna Wells, Doris Silvio and Willene Guilbeau; and her siblings' children, Wayne Newman, Paul Newman, Donnie Silvio, Carey Phillips and Darla Silvio.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Virginia Morin, Dexter, Austin Surface, Tristan Cothern, Kaitlynn, Madilyn Cothern, Chase Williams, Brittany and Cortney Williams; her great grandchildren, Millana, Jadalyn Morin, Parker, Kinley Williams, Preslie Surface, Emmalynn and Creek Cothern; and her siblings-in-law, Martha O'Quin and Earl Guilbeau. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
