She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Monroe Osborne and Kate Buie Osborne; her husband James E. Meteer; and her siblings, Sam Osborne, Arch Osborne, Frank Osborne, Bishop Osborne, Louise Cupit, Anna Bess Smith and Ruby Hemphill.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ruby Dianne Sowyers (Henry "Bo"), Kate Morrow (Alan), Sue Douglas and Debbie Rutland (Ricky); her stepson Robert "Bob" Meteer (Shirley); and her grandchildren, Nature Nehemias, Casey Covington, Christy Hall, David Swafford, Chad Douglas, Logan Douglas, Cody Covington, Mason Douglas, Robby Meteer and Spring Brown. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
