He was predeceased by : his parents, John L. Reid Sr. and Juanita Reid; his sister Faye Carol Reid; and his granddaughter Jessie Reid. He is survived by : his wife Nancy Reid; his children, Tamar Mitchell (Philip), Joseph Reid (Cristy), James Israel Reid (Jennifer) and John David Reid (Lyndsey); his grandchildren, Carrie Mitchell, Abbigail Reid, Anna Reid, Josie Reid, Olivia Reid and Reagan Reid; his sister Nida Evans; and his stepmother Rose Ellen Reid. He is also survived by his family and was very proud of his children and grandchildren.
