It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny King of Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Johnny departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Johnny. Though Johnny may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his son Johnny Ray King; and his father Troy Van King. He is survived by: his wife Pam King; his sons, Steve Hill (Amy) and David Daniels (Heather); his grandchildren, Alexis Butler (Patrick), Jacob Hill (Destini), Averi Hill, Jewel Chaney (Gavin), Andrew Daniels and Presleigh Daniels; and his brother Travis King (Peggy). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel (6300 MS-39, Meridian, MS 39305). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
