She was predeceased by: her husband James A. Stewart; her parents, Harold Wimberly and Annie Wimberly; her grandson Will Stewart; her brother Travis Wimberly; and her siblings-in-law, Dot Wimberly, Carolyn Herod and Othel Herod.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Carmichael (Terry, Sr.), Keith Stewart (Recee), Kathy McQuaig (Jimmy) and Kevin Stewart; her grandchildren, Stan Stewart (Jennifer), Terry Carmichael, Jr., Adam Carmichael (Brandi), Marie Moore (Jerry), Diane Savell (Robert), Laura Reece (Cory) and Cara McQuaig; her siblings-in-law, Tricia Robinson (Billy) and Ricky Stewart (Sharon); and her close friend Ann Hall. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Operation Christmas Child at Long Creek Baptist Church or Hebhzibah Baptist Church.
