We are sad to announce that on July 20, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Smiley Bonds of Meridian, Mississippi, born in Cusseta, Georgia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Rev. C. S. Bonds and Julia Holmes Bonds. He is survived by : his wife Naomi Wilson Bonds of Virginia; and his daughters, Brenda Lorthridge (El Jewell Sr.) of Indianapolis, Ind. and Carolyn Sylvester (Marion) of Indianapolis, Ind.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, godchildren, extended family members and loyal friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. James A.M.E. Church, 3706 Davis Street, Meridian, MS 39307.
