He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Hedgepeth King and John Alton King; his sister Billie King Hall (Joe); and his daughter Belinda King Brister. He is survived by: his wife Betty Watson King; his children, Sheri King Everett (Victor) of Monticello, MS, Vicky King Johnson (Wayne) of Crosby, MS and Jerry Darrel King, Sr. (Curt Brister) of Monticello, MS; and his siblings, Jimmy Lyn King (Donna), Sandra King Sarich (Ron) and Mary Beth Young. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Topeka Baptist Church Building Fund, or purchase of Bibles through The Gideons International.
