He is survived by : his children, Alex Gilbert (Brikki) of Morton, MS and Jasmine Gilbert of Morton, MS; his siblings, Darlene Keeton (Gerald), Catherine Gilbert-Benford, James Charles Gilbert, Lyndon Gilbert (Audrey), Mary Ward and Anthony Gilbert (Maria); his grandchildren, Janiya Gilbert, Carson Gilbert and Dontavian Johnson; and his stepgrandson Justice Stuart.
