She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Tolbert and Sarah Bradley Tolbert; her husband Sammie Burns; her children, John McIntyre and Sallie McLeod; and her grandchildren, Twayla Atchinson, Antone Tolbert and Demetrious Tolbert.
She is survived by: her children, Loretta Jennings (Robert), Alice Jones (Elvy), Wallace E. Tolbert, William Burns, Henry Burns (Yolanda) and Janice Hammond (Patrick) of Atlanta, GA; her stepdaughter Callie B. Young; her sisters-in-law, Dora Tolbert and Clara Tolbert; and her caregiver Thelma Thompson. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great- great-grandchildren.
