With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clifton David Thomas (Moss Point, Mississippi), born in Philadelphia, Mississippi, who passed away on February 2, 2021 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his wife Clara Thomas; his son Earl Thomas; and his siblings, Juanita Fulton, Juaquin Thomas, Sam Thomas and James Earl Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, David Thomas (Lee) of Foley, AL, Debbie Ladnier (Willie) of Agricola, Sharon Eldridge (Nathan) of Escatawpa, Martin Thomas (Ruth) of Vancleave, Teresa Flores (Michael) of Helena and Bonita Lynn Big Point; and his siblings, Wallace Thomas (Peggy) of Philadelphia, Jan Thomas (Jean) of Gilmer, TX and Earline Akins of Philadelphia. He is also survived by his 20 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic face mask and social distancing will be required in the funeral home and at the cemetery.
