He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Janet Morerro of Marathon and Joy Portello (Anthony) of Mobile; his siblings, James McCovery (Gail) of Los Angeles, Norman Franklin of Berkeley, Leslie McCovery of Corona and Brenda Franklin McNeil of Moss Point, Mississippi; and his niece Jessica "Vette" McCovery of Pascagoula, Mississippi.. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
