He is survived by: his wife Kay Sharon Smith Byron; his children, Danny Mitchell Byron (Keisha), Darla DeFrancesco (Dave) and Shana McDonald (Brandon); his grandchildren, Devin, Jordan, Abby, Dylan, Drew, Garrett, Gracie, Justin, Lindsey, Austin, Bailey, Katelynn and Summer; his sisters, Rita Elaine Byron Broussard (Sidney James) of Van Vleck, TX and Peggy Lou Byron Sexton (William Ray) of Palacios, TX; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Bennett and Theresa Ann Hester Byron.
