He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Lander and Lela Mae Byrd Lander; his wife Shirley Wilson Lander; his daughter Sandra Gamble; and his grandchildren, Billy Boatwell, Jr. and Brittany Megan Saucier.
He is survived by: his siblings, P. W. Lander, Jack Lander, Floyd Lander and Clarice Millberger.
