He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Grady Clifton Jones, Sr. and Luphelia Newsom Jones; his wife Barbara Slaughter Jones; his son David Lampton Jones (Melanie); his grandchildren, Joshua Jones, Carly Jones, Grady Jones and Benny Jones; his brother-in-law Bruce Slaughter (Wendy); his daughter-in-law Shanda Holder Jones; and his aunt Ruth Green. He was also cherished by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
