He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Ruth Burgess Bang; and his sisters, Annie "Boots" Gordon and Carolyn Herrington. He is survived by: his spouse Earline Dobbs; his children, Vivian Jones (Clarence), Ira Herbert "Herbie" Bang (Paulette) and Gayle Young (Steve); and his grandchildren, David Jones (Cynthia), Kenny Jones (Karri), Ira Herbert Bang, II, Anna Young Mills (Jabe), Amber Young Waltman (Mark) and Jeff Jones (Ashley). He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
