He was predeceased by: his father Henry; his stepfather Elmore Williams; his mother Bertie Williams; his siblings, Charles Denton, Lamar Denton and Bertie Louise Judy; his sons, Wesley and Scott Denton; his grandson Preston Floore; his nephew Henry L. Denton; and his niece Delaney Denton.
He is survived by: his wife Vickie Denton of Wade, MS; his children, Chuck Davis (Teresa) of Vancleave, Tonya Mazingo (Bruce) of Moss Point, Renee Hawes (Troy) of Pascagoula and Angela Brewer (Kevin) of Lucedale; his brothers, Henry E. Denton (Suzi) of Pascagoula and Harold Denton Ponchatoula (Nina); and also, James Judy (Judy) of Pascagoula, Marlette McClure (John) of Mobile, AL and William Denton (Tina) of Pascagoula. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives near and dear and several special friends.
