It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julius William Redmond Jr. (Moss Point, Mississippi), who passed away on January 15, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Bessie Redmond,; his daughter Mona Kay Miller; his grandson Scottie Miller; and his siblings, Emma Lou Buckler, Frankie Redmond, Mary Nell Evans and Annette Graham.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Redmond; his children, Laura Love (Jason), Julia Schmelter (T. J.), Susan Timmerman, Michael Redmond (Jackie) and Jay Redmond; his grandchildren, Briley Poff (Bobby), Ryker Poff, Ted Schmelter, Gloria Schmelter, Amber Schmelter, Drew Schmelter, Tristen Schmelter, Catherine Redmond, Abigail Redmond, Zachary Redmond, Samantha Kennedy and Brad Miller (April); and his siblings, Jerry Redmond (Linda), David Redmond (Karen), Margaret O'Bannon and John Redmond. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and numerous friends.
