She was predeceased by: her husband Obie E. Hawley; and her siblings, Troy Charles Peagler, Ted Herbert Peagler and Etoile Peagler Merchant. She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Ann Hawley Robertson; her grandchildren, Dr. Hess McClellan of Jackson, MS, Dr. Sara Martin Robertson of Jackson, MS and Hawley Rae Robertson of Jackson, MS; her sister Melba Peagler Merchant; and her sister-in-law Harriet "Skeeter" Hawley Dowdy (James). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
