He was predeceased by: his parents, William McWhorter and Lavada McWhorter; and his grandchildren, Todd Wright, Tosha and Lacey Caudillo.
He is survived by: his wife Donna McWhorter; his children, Jayden McWhorter of Big Point, Tanita Hornsby (Claud) of Lufkin, Tommy Caudillo of Big Point and Cecil Caudillo of Boaz, AL.; his great grandchildren, Rylee, Rani and Klaire; his siblings, Geneva Cantrell (Art) and Jack McWhorter of Anniston, AL; his nieces, Sheila, Willie Ruth and Karen; and his friends, James Tindle and Dora McIntyre.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes donation to be made to the Wounded Warrior Project on his behalf.
