With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Audrey Kittrell Burkhalter (Natchez, Mississippi), who passed away on September 25, 2018 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee and Beatrice Kittrell; her husband Larry D. Burkhalter Jr; her sister-in-law Kathy Kittrell; and her close friend Louise Walton.
She is survived by: her son Jeff Burkhalter (Julie); her brother Robert D. Kittrell; her grandchildren, Nancy Whittington (Alex) and Laura Beth Burkhalter (Richard Iannazzo); her stepgrandchildren, Melissa Bryant (Devin) and Justin May (Jana); her great grandchildren, Beau Whittington, Sutton Whittington, Zaide Paine and Asher Burkhalter; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Stratton May, Cara May and Aiden Bryant; her sibling's children, Hailey Kittrell and Buddy East (Barbara); her great-niece Sarah Kathryn Rhaly; and her great-nephew Joshua Jones.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of Mrs. Burkhalter to Blair Batson Children's Hospital in Jackson, MS or St. Jude's Children Research Hospital in Memphis.
